Pre-trade risk check
Before the FillSize it from the stop. Check the book. Then click.
Enter the trade you are about to place and the positions you already hold. The page works out how many units your risk per trade allows, trims it to your position, heat and group limits, and shows what the trade risks, what it can make, the win rate it needs and how much open risk the book carries after it.

You can drop a .csv or .txt of open positions onto the positions box.
Your limits
Common defaults: risk 1% a trade, 6% open heat across the book, 3% in any one group, no position over 25% of the account. Set your own.

4 The risk read metered
One run reads the page's numbers, your thesis and your book. It keeps to the page's gate, reads the stop against what you said proves the idea wrong, looks for the same bet twice in the book, and writes a plan for after the fill and the checks to make before you click.

How the page counts
Risk per unit is the distance from entry to stop plus the slippage you allow, times the multiplier (1 for shares; money per point for futures). Size by risk is your risk per trade - a percent of the account - less the round-trip commission, divided by the risk per unit, rounded down to your size step.
The other limits can only make it smaller: the position limit caps the position's value as a percent of the account; the heat limit caps the open risk of the whole book; the group limit caps the open risk of everything with the same tag. Open risk of a held position runs from its current price (or its entry) to its stop, and is zero once the stop is at or past that price. The smallest size wins.
Reward to risk is the distance to the target, less slippage, over the risk distance. The break-even win rate is the share of trades that must reach the target, with the rest stopped out, to break even after commission. Expectancy at your win rate is the average R a trade like this one makes if every trade ends at the target or the stop.
The gate is decided in this order: a negative expectancy, or a stop too far for one unit, is skip; no heat or group room is wait; a planned size over the maximum is resize; otherwise take. The risk read keeps to it, and the page lists anything in the read that does not.
Risk arithmetic, not investment advice. The page never says where a price is going. Check prices, multipliers and margin with your broker before you trade.
